Our governments and leaders cannot change a person's heart
We are a 501(c)(3) public charity created to help people who are struggling to find hope in difficult times. We believe in bringing hope and peace to one person at a time, as the Lord Jesus Christ enables us to do so.
So how do we do this? We call it love in action. We engage, pray, provide, and share with people—one-on-one or with larger audiences—locally, nationally, and internationally, why there is hope and peace that can be found in Jesus.
A lot of people in the U.S. will not attend church in person, but the Bible teaches that the Body of Christ, His followers, are the Church. What does that mean? It means that we here at Rescued & Reconciled Ministries are taking the Church to them. We are going into our streets with the Good News, into our communities, and anywhere God leads us to go!
There is an immediate and urgent need, now more than ever, for people to experience the love of God and the hope that can be found through Jesus Christ. Statistically, more than 5.6 billion people are living with anxiety without knowing the hope that can be found in Jesus. Hope is Jesus, and the Bible says in 1 Peter 1:3 (NKJV), “According to His abundant mercy He has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.”
So how do we experience the hope of Jesus Christ? We should experience it through a personal relationship with Jesus and through His servants on earth who lead us into the truth and revelation of His Word. The Bible says in Matthew 5:14, “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.” So we, those who confess faith in Jesus, are a light to those in the world who do not have the hope of Jesus in their hearts.
Just as a city set on a hill cannot be hidden, those who are in Christ should not be hidden. Our goal is to shine forth, revealing to all who witness our character and ministry that there is hope—and that hope is found in the redeeming and saving power of Jesus.
